Cochlear Corporation, the Sydney, Australia-based manufacturer of the Nucleus brand of cochlear implants, has announced a formal deadline for applications for the Dr. Graeme Clark Scholarship award. Applications must be submitted by June 29th, 2007.

This scholarship award is for Nucleus cochlear implant users graduating high school and entering college. This past year, Cochlear awarded 5 students across the U.S. with this scholarship, which is a grant of $2,ooo annually for 4 years.
The winners for 2007 were awarded their scholarships at the Cochlear Celebration, held in San Antonio Texas in February of this year. A grand presentation of the awards was held at the end of the Celebration. This was an emotional time for both the awardees, their family members, and all those attending this wonderful event.
